This is Vlako Stefanovski at his best. Not only Vlatko, but also other members of Leb i Sol, keyboard player Koki Dimusevski, Bodan Arsovski on bass and genius drummer Garo Tavitijan, performing live on their 30th Anniversary Tour.
I saw them on their concert in Split, Croatia, at the end of 2006. Yes, I was there! Even spent some time with them in their dressing room before the concert, accompanied by famous drummer Petar Peco Petej (ex Indexi, ex Time, ex Foundations, etc.) Vlatko was nervous, busy fixing his guitars and the rest of the guys were pretty much relaxed. That is normal for Vlatko. He is a perfectionist, always wants to give his best. The concert was perfect, hall was packed with fans, great stage, great sound, great performance and the crowd enjoyed very much. I am not a fan of big concerts any more. I saw them a lot through my life. Nowdays I prefer gigs in the clubs, but this concert was something special. When I played this concert on my RockAnthology radio show, I compared performance by Leb i Sol with Pink Floyd. When you listen to this double CD, you will realise why.
The second concert of the "30th ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2006" was held at the Ohrid Antic Theatre. At this concert, with an audience of 3000, audio and video footages were made and it was published as live CD and DVD. As part of these editions there is a new remake of a Macedonian traditional song that LEB I SOL recorded at the Skopje studio "Tra,la,la". The name of the song is "Raspukala Sar Planina".
